Thor’s Tipi
Get your mulled wine at the ready because Thor’s Tipi is back again bringing traditional Viking cheer to Christmas! Pull up a log and gather around the open fire to escape the winter cold as you snuggle up under the twinkling fairy lights and enjoy sweet treats, hot chocolate, winter warmers and much more! Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland
The award-winning Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland returns again to York Designer Outlet, nearby to our York hotel, this festive season from the 17th November until the 6th January 2019. Get your skates on and discover Northern England’s largest outdoor ice rink, The Ice Factor. With a stunning 30ft Christmas tree as a centrepiece, it‘s the perfect magical backdrop for some festive fun. If the ice isn’t your thing then check out Papa Hütte, the cosy alpine themed café or wander around the vintage fairground where you’ll find classic fairground rides and plenty of games stalls!

Snow on the Shambles
Every Friday and Saturday night between 4 pm and 6 pm from the 30th November until the 22nd December, it’s guaranteed to be a white Christmas on York’s famous, medieval street, the Shambles. The shops are open later so head on over and experience the festive magic as you get into the shopping spirit. Less than a 10-minute walk away from our hotel in York it’s a must-visit when you stay with us.
