Hotel Indigo York’s Reception Manager, Hayley Bowden was recognised as a finalist in Apprentice of the Year awards 2016 for Babcock – leading provider of innovative workforce development solutions.

Hayley, who has been working at the York hotel since its launch in 2015, was recently promoted to Manager of the department and has successfully completed an NVQ in Level 3 Hospitality Supervision and Leadership.
She says: “It’s a privilege to have been nominated for this award. Mike has provided me with full support through my studies and training allowing me to adjust my life as a working mother to be able to progress my skills at work.”
The luxury boutique hotel in York is located on Walmgate and is part of the Splendid Hospitality Group.
