The hunt is over: No. 88 Walmgate reveals the ultimate Easter treat

No. 88 Walmgate, next to the Indigo hotel in York has unveiled its latest Freakshake creation for Easter.

The Easter Freakshake is a decadent concoction of local Yorvale ice cream topped with delicious chocolatey Easter treats.

Oliver Bell, newly appointed Head Chef at No. 88 Walmgate and part of Indigo York, a boutique hotel in York came up with the recipe and said: “York is the home of chocolate in the UK so we thought Easter would be the perfect time to create an even bigger, even better Freakshake and challenge the people of York and beyond to take it on.

“Our Easter Freakshake will be scattered with smarties, mini eggs, marshmallows and more so those tackling it best bring their A-game!”

The Easter Freakshake will be available from 12noon to 10pm throughout April and costs £7 at our restaurant in York. April also marks the start of Freakshake Fridays where diners can enjoy two Freakshakes for just £10. No. 88 is centrally located and next to the Indigo hotel in York, so why not try out the limited edition creation.
