York’s well-loved bar, No88 Walmgate, has had a big change of direction. Keeping a strong focus on celebrating all things Yorkshire, the bar features a brand new menu.
We Yorkshire folk prefer less fuss and more quality. That’s why we now serve only great drinks and rustic pizzas – the ideal pairing.
Our 12” rustic pizzas are prepared with extra virgin olive oil, 100% Italian flour and mozzarella cheese. Toppings include Colazione (breakfast-style toppings), Tre Formaggi (three cheese), and Festa Della Carne (meat feast). We also offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Ever proud of our Yorkshire roots, you’ll find Rudgate Beer, which is brewed just 30 minutes down the road, and York Gin behind the bar. Creative cocktails such as our signature Indigo Bluebird accompany well-known favourites, like the Espresso Martini.
If you prefer a more familiar drink, we have you covered with Amstel, Strongbow and Birra Moretti on draft, alongside bottled ciders and beers. We also serve a great cup of tea – Yorkshire tea, of course.
